This is a real review, with my honest opinion.
I've had this jerky before, but shared it with some co-workers to taste and experience the heat. Small pieces, nothing too bad. Definitely hot but tasty. So I decided to buy another pack for myself, to see if I could condition myself to handle the heat better. Boy was I stupid.
So there I was, looking at this bag of jerky telling myself there's a large piece that I could chew on. I love jerky, a lot. So I pulled that sucker out of the bag, shoved it in my mouth and began to chew. Yum, still very tasty and definitely HOT. This time the heat was far worse than when I initially tried it, my entire mouth was on fire like I swallowed magma. I started to sweat profusely I felt as if Satan had reached out from the depths of hell and was trying to drag me down to hell with him. After an hour of trying everything I could to get the heat to dissipate, I was finally able to relax. I couldn't really taste anything but I was just happy the heat was gone. I told myself I would never do that again.
But it wasn't over...
Here I am at work, stomach hurting and typing this review. I'm convinced this jerky has magically changed half my body into a Dragon. Walking back to my desk is like a walk of shame, because I can't walk quick enough. The pain after each step has reminded me that some chances are NOT worth taking. So I warn anyone who isn't familiar with eating spicy things; If you want to try this, do so in small pieces so you don't overdo it. Everyone has their limits. The jerky is very tasty but the warning of the heat is no joke.

We love this jerkey but it is not for the faint of heart. It is super hot with lots of flavor. We bought 4 bags as we have purchased this this before. All the jerkey we have tried from Beef Jerkey Outlet has been great.

Its not the hottest jerky I've tried, but its got enough heat to entertain your taste buds without losing appeal to the masses. If you could do this flavor in a traditional jerky rather than the super soft smoke, itd be my favorite. For that reason, I prefer Fire traditional.

My son bought me a bag while on vacation, and I thought is very good. Nice heat,( I like it a little hotter myself) I didn't know how much he paid for it. Just a bit pricey.

I've been hunting for the hottest jerky for years, and because I had been unsuccessful, I had resorted to adding Carolina reaper sauce to jerky myself. But this stuff from BJO is outstanding. It is - bar none - the hottest jerky I have ever had. Much hotter than Jack Link's Wild Heat. This is serious stuff for the serious hot head and should last for a while because the only way to consume it is in moderation. Excellent jerky, will order again!

Most hot jerky concentrate on the heat instead of the flavor. The Reaper has an excellent well rounded flavor without sacrificing the heat.

Normally when you order "hot" stuff, it's not all that hot. Not the case here; this smoked beef (as opposed to jerky) is very hot, which I like, The first bag I ate a good portion and then got the capsicum cramps! This also gives me the scalp-sweats, which also points to the level of heat. The beef is tender and tasty as always with BJE, but beware.....this is hot enough to cramp you! My favorite product so far.....
