Option to Graduate Without Certification

Interdisciplinary major Pre-Certification students who have completed at to the lowest degree 18 PRE-Teacher Education credits within the Academic Major and at least 24 Advanced Instructor education credits with the Bookish Major may enter the non-certification program. By doing and so, students electing this route may graduate with a Available's Caste only will non be eligible to use for certification. Students choosing this road must:

  • be core complete with a 2.75 in Core;
  • exist in skillful standing in the School of Education by having an overall ii.75 GPA or college;
  • complete all degree plan courses with a class of "C" or better (including coursework completed in the Core Curriculum and all courses that are approved every bit substitutions for courses required on the degree plan);
  • consummate all program degree requirements listed on the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies - (Without Certification) degree program;
  • forfeit eligibility to obtain approval by the School of Educational activity to sit for any TExES exams as an undergraduate program finisher; and
  • sign an Add together/ Change of Degree, Major, Pocket-size, or Certificate Form to indicate a change to the Without Certificate runway.

Post-graduation certification may exist attained through either a post-baccalaureate, Master's Degree Program, or Alternative Certification Program of the pupil'south choice.
